For 10 years, the software industry has been talking about software as a service as the de facto platform. Terabytes have been generated to discuss the merits of mega-tenancy versus multi-tenancy versus single-tenancy, yet I don’t recall ever reading anything about how a vendor makes money in the SaaS market.
