When Little Acquisitions Mean a Lot: IBM Acquires Venetica

IBM’s acquisition of Venetica may seem trivial to some; just another in the growing heap of integration and middleware acquisitions that IBM has been making in the past year. Few people have heard of Venetica, largely because its VeniceBridge product is often embedded and sold as a component of other vendors’ products. This is exactly why its impact will be meaningful for the content management market.
