Microsoft Pilots RFID for Small to Midsize Companies

Microsoft has launched an RFID pilot at KiMs, one of Europe’s largest potato chip (crisp) manufacturers. Whilst the pilot is at an early stage, Microsoft is proving that RFID is not only an option for large companies with deep pockets; privately owned KiMs has just 246 employees.
