Spending on customer management applications has reached an all-time high, a recent AMR Research survey shows. At the same time, implementations fail in nearly one out of every three CRM deployments, and the average company has about a quarter of its licenses collecting dust. So as these companies follow through with their software purchases the next 12 months, buyers should consider a number of tactics to avoid falling into that unlucky third.
