Microsoft Makes a Long-Anticipated Move Into MDM

We knew it was just a matter of time before Microsoft stepped into the master data management (MDM) fracas. Now the company has acquired MDM provider Stratature, which made a name for itself by managing consistent hierarchies (a.k.a. dimensions) that describe how a company logically thinks about its business.
