Consumer Products Companies Flunk the Inventory Test

The annual scores on inventory management for 2005 are in. They show overall inventory-to-sales ratio in the United States has continually improved since 1992. While other industry sectors have made year-over-year progress, the consumer products (CP) industry has gone backwards. Here we share insights on what CP companies need to do to reverse this trend.
