The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) world felt some tremors the past few weeks as SAP joined the on-demand game and salesforce.com experienced another outage. While likening SaaS to a new religion for software buyers may be an exaggeration, the faithful are witnessing factions splitting, new sects emerging, and maybe even some folks switching faiths.
