TNT Exiting the Logistics Business: Reversal or Continuation of the Trend?

While most asset-intensive carriers are getting into the logistics services business in search of higher margins, TNT is getting out. The interesting thing is that TNT claims to be making this move as part of a strategy to grow and increase margin network-based delivery businesses, exactly the opposite of what other companies state is the prime reason to move into the services business in the first place.
