SAP ERP 6.0 is clearly SAP’s “go-to” release and approximately 9,500 SAP customers are now live on ERP 6.0 for at least portion of their landscape. Nearly all of the SAP Peer Forum members are either already on ERP 6.0 or currently in the planning process. The general consensus is that for most companies the upgrade is easier than prior releases and SAP is offering better tools and services. Members who have extensive modifications or have to also do the Unicode conversion are facing a more extensive and challenging project.
