Top-five Indian IT company HCL Technologies has finalized its £441M ($678M) acquisition of UK-headquartered Axon Global, the largest independent SAP consultant-integrator in the world. From a head count and revenue perspective, the acquisition admits HCL to the ranks of the Top 10 SAP service providers, with a combined SAP consulting and support capability that is 60% larger than its closest India-based competitor, Tata Consultancy Services.
