Why did you choose to work at AMR Research?
I chose AMR Research because of its depth of coverage and historical roots in supply chain. AMR Research is in a unique position to be the advisor to organizations that have a supply chain emphasis. I look at my time here at AMR Research as a sort of graduate school that gives me a solid industry-wide look at issues that I think are important.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
The biggest challenge as a director is to ensure that the Peer Forum is a member-led program and that each interaction, whether teleconference or face-to-face meeting, provides value to the membership. It is my responsibility to ensure members interact with other members, versus looking to AMR Research to deliver content.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
My rewards come through servicing external and internal clients. Externally, I like helping Peer Forum members become more sophisticated business people through our teleconference and summit education and dialogue. Peer Forum clients express appreciation for the interactions, and prospects join because they can relate to the agenda.Internally, I like knowing that I am offering a valuable product that the sales team is confident to be selling, and I like knowing I can support the research arm of the business.
