Biography
Research
Greg Aimi brings more than 20 years of business experience in the supply chain, technology, marketing, and high technology industries to his position as a research director in AMR Research’s Market Services group. In his current role, Greg provides research and best practice analysis in supply chain management, global trade, and visibility and event management. Greg helps clients understand the impact of these areas on demand-driven supply networks.
Greg pioneered the development of the supply chain execution category of software. This category is composed of the integration of transportation, warehousing and distribution, order fulfillment, and the associated movement of goods and information across an integrated supply chain network. His work has focused on the continual re-optimization of supply chain functions in response to the daily disruptions and dynamic change of the real world.
Before joining AMR Research, Greg held several senior management positions. He worked at RedPrairie and as VP and CTO of two early and mid-stage software companies.
Greg received his BA from the University of North Texas.
