Jeff Taylor
Research Director, Global Logistics

Jeff Taylor is Research Director for Global Logistics with a focus on outsourced logistics including warehousing, transportation, and 3PLs.  Jeff brings over 30 years of international logistics’ experience with freight forwarders, import-export, VAT and duty tax regulations, distribution operations, service call centers, and 3PL contract RFP negotiations.

Jeff has worked extensively with 3PL warehousing and transportation vendors and has established bonded and FTZ distribution centers. He has built warehousing and distribution networks in EMEA, LATAM, APAC, and NA.  In transportation he partnered with freight forwarders to build national and international shipping lanes to economize on both delivery times and cost initiatives.  He has managed global service logistics projects and warehouse operations to develop parts support for medical imaging equipment.

Jeff has lived and worked in Europe and the U.S. for companies in different industries.  Prior to joining AMR Research Jeff was Global Operations / Project Manager for Philips Healthcare PH. He has also held senior logistics positions for Sharp Electronics, Switzerland and with Picker International.

Jeff earned a BA from the University of Akron, his MBA from Kent State University, and is also trained as a Sigma Six Green Belt.
